Tour our Home: Holiday Home Tour

Last December our home was part of the holiday home tour for our city. Every year they hand select 5-7 custom homes as part of a tour that people can participate in. For the tour West Elm and PB Teen at South Coast Plaza came in and styled our home to look beautiful for the holidays and Merci Bouquet did all the beautiful florals. My favorite part was all the throw pillows and blankets that gave our home the feel of wanting to cozy up and enjoy a hot cup of coffee with friends. As “modern” as our industrial farmhouse can lean, one of my favorite things about our home is that it feels welcoming and we didn’t want to lose that during the process of decorating it for the home tour.

There were a couple hundred tickets sold for the holiday home tour, which is exciting and nerve wrecking. It’s one thing when you love your home and every way it’s been re-done, but it’s another to have a couple hundred people walking through judging your home. Thankfully, from the feedback we heard, our home was a favorite on the tour.

I tried to include as many photos as possible, but the day was crazy so I wasn’t able to get as many, or as many angles as I hoped. Thank you to West Elm and PB Teen for the beautiful way you styled our home!

If you made it through all the photos, thanks for scrolling through – we are beyond thrilled with how beautiful our home turned out. Even our kids couldn’t believe how much different their rooms looked and immediately took to the bean bag and the leopard chair. Now, if only I could’ve convinced Kyle to keep Christmas up all year long! Do you have a favorite room on our home tour?
