Style: Rent the Runway
A couple of weekends ago, I had the opportunity to travel to Bentonville, AR, on behalf of my company Pollinate Media Group to attend the Kiss a Pig Gala. The gala is put on every year to raise money in support of the American Diabetes Association. It’s one of the most anticipated galas each year in Arkansas and this year Pollinate Media was one of the sponsors at the event. It truly was a fantastic event and so well put together by the Kiss a Pig committee, we look forward to sponsoring again next year. Kyle and I have personally supported many non-profit organizations over the years and we loved that this event gave us the opportunity to help raise money for an amazing organization through our company.
Now let’s talk about this fabulous dress, shall we? This was my second time renting a long gown from Rent the Runway, and let me be honest, the selection process was so hard! They have so many beautiful options, it was hard to decide on which dress I loved the most. The first gown I rented back in January was a little on the low-cut side, so I decided to go with a more modest option for the gala, being that we were going to be in the south. Turns out, my dress was more on the modest side of most of the ones we saw that evening, but I didn’t mind, because it earned me many compliments as we moved around the silent auction and ballroom.
So what do you think? Did I nail it with this dress? I think the low swoop back was my favorite part!! If you haven’t had a chance to sign up for or try out Rent the Runway, it’s a must! I’m totally addicted and even signed up for the Pro plan so I could save on shipping and insurance for the rest of this year. I plan to order for events at conferences I’m attending, weddings and any other work events that might come up. Next month I’m headed to Vegas with some of my girl friends and I’m thinking we might need to pit stop into their Vegas store and rent some dresses for our night out on the town!
