Maple Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies

I love, love, love to bake! With our home under construction and workers being here during the week, it gives me the opportunity to try out new recipes on them. Bacon is one of my favorite foods and I’m of the belief that everything tastes better with bacon, thus Maple Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookies. Trust me when I say I’ve tested this recipe out on several people and they were a hit! Be sure to pin this recipe because you’re gonna want to make these A LOT!

Here’s what you need:

  • 3 cups Flour
  • 3/4 cup of Sugar
  • 3/4 cup of Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Butter (2 sticks, softened)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup bacon (cooked and chopped)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Let’s get Baking:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. In a small bowl, mix the flour, salt and baking soda. Set to the side
  3. In your mixing bowl, add sugar, brown sugar, butter and vanilla. Mix well
  4. Add your maple syrup while the mixer is still going. this helps it mix well into the sugar and butter mix
  5. Add eggs one at a time. Mix well
  6. Add Flour mix a little at a time
  7. Add your bacon and chocolate chips
  8. Using a cookie scoop, place your cookie dough on your cookie sheet.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges brown
  10. Serve warm with a cold glass of milk

I made 2 dozen of these babies and they’re already almost gone! Now that’s what I call a good cookie! Happy baking friends!
