I’m linking up this week with my sweet friend Lisa for Hello Monday, come join the fun.
Hello to the sunshine, a new work week, getting back into my fitness routine and summertime! Both littles are finally finished with school and we are no longer bound to the alarm clock.
Hello to sleeping in till 8am instead of getting up at 7 with the alarm.
This weekend Brayden graduated from preschool. Our little baby is going to Transitional Kindergarten. TK is a two year kinder program offered at many schools to give kids who don’t meet the birthday cut offs an extra year in a program that really strives to get them ready for Kindergarten. Graduation began with a Spring Sing, then they did Fruit of the Spirit Awards and then graduation. There’s something about watching him sing and dance with his class one last time that was so bittersweet. It’s a reminder that one more faze in our lives is complete, one more chapter has closed and there are moments where I wish I could hold on to them a little longer.
Hello to receiving the Fruit of the Spirit for Love. It’s so well suited for him, he truly is our loving little boy. His joy and sensitivity is evident to all those around him. I’m so excited for what God is going to do in his life.
Hello to a weekend filled with activities.
This weekend we also had Katelyn’s dance recital. Her little class performed to a very edited version of Katy Perry’s California Girls song and they all did a great job. We even let Katelyn wear a little bit of make up for the performance, which of course, made her eyes water, but she loved it. Her dance teacher did a great job choreographing the whole show, including a boys hip hop class, which Brayden was part of, but due to our busy weeks and the Friday afternoon class he had to drop out of. I’m pretty sure we’ll be signing him back up this summer.
Hello to sleeping in till almost 10am Sunday morning, enjoying a lazy cup of coffee and then a family trip to Ikea. I’m ready to say hello to all that this week has to hold!
What are you saying hello to today?
