My Fitness Journey – Part 7
Well I bet you were wondering when my next update would be.
Me too frankly.
Mostly because I feel like the last two month life has been, well….
Between traveling, school starting, new schedules, life, work, did I say work? I just haven’t committed myself to working out 4 times a week like I had been. I’m ashamed to say I’ve been averaging 2-3 times a week and then sliding in trips to the doughnut shop in between. Yikes! Nothing like falling off the food wagon right?
So between falling off the food wagon, eating out a bunch and not monitoring what I’m eating, combined with not working out as frequently, I feel like I haven’t had much to share in the way of successes. I mean, the whole goal with starting this journey was to inspire others. If I can do you, you can do it right? Well, I feel as though my journey has lacked some inspiration lately. It’s funny how when you feel like you’re at your low points, how not sharing makes you feel as though you’ve not fallen off the wagon. It’s almost as if I thought I could pretend that I was still rocking and rolling, just not sharing as many pictures of it.
Have you sat where I’m sitting?
I sure hope so, because I feel so vulnerable writing this.
To top it off, this week was going to be the week that I jumped back on my feet. Then I woke up sick.
Head cold. BAM!
I worked out today anyway. I’m determine to sweat it out of me and guzzle water the rest of the day like it’s going out of style. If I give myself one more inch, I just might take the mile…. if you know what I mean.
I will blame that on Cristina.
Since that’s my only claim to fame in this months update, I’m rolling with it. I’m sure y’all will understand. After all, you’ve fallen off the wagon too, right?
Any cheers you remember from high school to keep me motivated? I can use all the help I can get.
