‘Adult’ Rice Krispy Treats
Hi Friends! I’m sharing a treat with you all that is both dangerous and easy to make….just beware.
These rice krispy bars are way to good and are just a combination of my favorite flavors. You can make regular ones for the kiddos….and save these decadent ones for the adults!
What You Need
-Half a stick of butter
-1 cup of melted caramel (I made my own, but you can melt down store bought caramels just the same)
-1 bag of mini marshmallows
-1 tsp vanilla
-1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
-6 cups rice krispy cereal
What You Do
-Melt down the butter
-Add marshmallows and stir till melted and smooth
-Pour in 1/2 cup of melted caramel & vanilla
-Fold in rice krispy cereal
-In a greased pan press the marshmallow cereal mixture. Let it sit and cool.
-Melt down the chocolate chips
-Once the rice krispy bars are cooled, cut them into squares.
-Dip the squares into the chocolate and place on parchment paper to cool.
-Drizzle the last of the caramel and sprinkle with sea salt.
